my number one most played song in my itunes is:
"surf" by ka'au crater boys
i guess i was listening to it over and over when i was learning the ukulele for a bit. it's a very easy song for beginners.

friday 130am
just got home from work; nothing too eventful happened...it was actually quite slow. oh wait, i was more clumsy today than usual. broke a shoyu dish, almost dropped a second, and dropped a bowl on a table...whooops.

Today you might be feeling a powerful need to write down your thoughts, dear Sagittarius, but they might prove a bit too amorphous for you to put them into words. You might also have difficulty making contact with friends or loved ones - you may keep missing each other! Getting around in your near neighborhood could prove frustrating, as traffic is likely to be clogged. In spite of small irritations, however, this should be an enjoyable day. Hang in there!

it is impossible to catch a wild goose, so don't chase one...
that was the ending line of my horoscope, according to the newspaper anyway...
i don't know if i should follow that, or screw that and say anything is possible. isn't that what they teach you when you're young?
didn't do my improv again...ran out of time. for sure on tuesday. i better practice and be really good since i've had all this extra time to work on it.
school was fun, anyway.
the adventure i just had:
well, considering my truck isn't registered, nor do i have insurance, and it doesn't have working rear blinkers or brake lights, i decided i should at least try and fix the rear blinkers and brake lights until the bugs is up and running.
i figured out exactly what doesn't work and what bulbs work what and blah blah. so i changed the parking lights (because one didn't work and the other was really dim)...
the bulbs for the rear brake lights and blinkers is the same...so i went to take one out to have a reference just in case when i went to napa auto parts.
when i took out the lights there were like billions of ants in the socket and casing. it was gross! the bulb was all corroded and the ants were living in there. i don't know if they were eating the corrosion, but they kept gathering white balls of something from the socket.
i banged the socket against the side of the truck and lots of ants fell out. i didn't realize there were so many on the ground until i saw so many swarming around and getting on my slippas.
i left the light out dangling hoping the ants would evacuate while i rode my bike to napa's. it was a fun cruise. i got the bulbs and rode back home feeling the burn in my thighs. (not in a disgusting way...) when i got back to the sock there were even MORE ants coming out and i shook out lots and lots more, but i think i just need to replace the socket. it's probably corroded, ant eatin and destroyed by now.
i'm gonna ask joey if it's easy tomorrow. it probably is.

RULES OF THE ROAD ...on a bike...
since it is only my 2nd day as a bike rider (born again), i thought i should look up some useful bike knowlegde. i've been riding on the sidewalk...is this correct? or should i be riding on the road?

improv. update.
i'm expecting to do it tomorrow and have decided to change the song to "california pt II" by mason jennings. it still sounds 'country-western' enough to fit the scene, but i'm more familiar with it and do actually dance around listening to it in my room, so i'll pretty much just do what i do regularly, but in front of my class.
wed. was wonderful.

Important enterprises centering on your home could take up a lot of your energy over the next few days, dear Sagittarius. A lot of people might be coming and going. Perhaps you're hosting a significant social event, or moving to a nicer place, or maybe you're transacting a lot of business in your home. Whichever it is, it's likely to produce the results you're hoping for. Work hard and make the most of it!

...that's pretty on since i've having the "dinner party" tonight at my house, pizza night!
...over 14hrs later...
the dinner party was a success. the day was eventful and fun. it started at 7am ,went to work a little tired-looking...had on my headphones most of the day on the boat since i was riding with steve. yes, i swear, my hair doesn't even blow when i ride on the boat. . .that's how slow he goes!! so, back to the headphones...listened to mason jennings pretty much all morning except to talk to a couple of japanese boys on the boat. one looked very okinawan so i asked him where he was from. he said 'yokohama'...then i told him (all in nihongo, of course) that i thought he looked okinawan, and he said he is really from okinawa, but just lives in yokohama right now...damn, i'm good. i miss them okinawan boys sometimes. ha.
i got off at noon, got some hummis at kona, and picked up bsauce from uh. we went to holy smokes and then to wal-mart where i got a new bike...YES! i got it! and a lock, some conditioner, and shaving cream. the bike is dope. i laahhhhhhve it!
now i need a basket, and a bell. and a small kitten to ride in the basket.

oh yah, i also got some bulbs for my rear blinker lights. i went to the book to look up with model of light fits which vehicle and in this one inch thick book, i happend to open right to the page that said "87 Ford Ranger", which is exactly what i needed. weird. but good.
after me and bsause got back to my pad we lowered my bike seat...i'm think maybe i should have just gotten a kids bike. i could actually reach the ground if i did probably. oh well, i'll survive. i rode my new bike and he rode joey's/yuka's/al's old bike with a flat tire to 76 where we got some air (for a quarter).
we then booked it to the post office so we got there before it closed at 430. then we rode to the grocery (with backpacks) to get groceries for the pizza.
oska (my assistant ;) ) did most of the work and it was delicious. we also had ice cream for dessert, twice.
we also watched space jam and speed and part of jurassic park on our vhs. i didn't pay much attention though. i'm just not into movies like that anymore...

This is one of those days in which you might not be fully appreciated for the wonderful breeze of fresh air you bring to the group, dear Sagittarius. Revenge of the stale and old may be coming into the fold today. Don't give in to negative forces trying to hold you back from expressing yourself fully. Have confidence that you have everything it takes to be successful in whatever path you decide to undertake.

my favorite t-shirt:
i acidentally just ripped a hold in the shoulder...not like a fixable one. like the material was disinigrating. and theres now a hole. :( it was my mom's old shirt from like the 80's she gave to me in middle school. it had the lakes of park rapids, mn; my family lives around that area.
i'm sad.
it's officially retired.
i should frame it.

do you miss me?
the last time i saw you you were waving goodbye in the back of a train with a tear in your eye...
i don't like mondays...
ok, ok, well, mondays these days aren't that bad. still can't remember any of my dreams lately. got a lot of homework to get done for tomorrow. have work early; should get off early.
got pulled over on the way home for "swerving". i probably was...i think i was doing something stupid like playing on my phone... thankfully i hadn't been drinking or anything. unfortunately, my registration was expired...and so was my insurance...but the guy didn't notice the insurance was and let me go for the registration since i acted like i didn't know it had expired in dec. acting classes paying off? haha, j.k.
but seriously, need to get the bug fixed so i don't have to drive the truck anymore...soon hopefully!

work was very slow. i went in with a big appetite, orderd lots of food and then felt sick after pounding most of it. i got off very early and only had made like 7 bucks after i paid for my food. oh well, at least i got out of there early.

nature valley granola bars / box tops for education
...are my favorite snacks/sm meals. you can get a 12-pack for three bucks, that's 25 cents people! it's 180 calories of delicous, crunchy oats 'n honey granola.
the box flap has a box tops for education 10 cent coupon! this can help schools go a long way. start bringing them to me (the coupons...) ! since i'm not really sure i want to be a teacher anymore, this will be my way to help education. you, your mom, your brother's girlfriend's mom's step-dad's mom's sister should ALL save your box top to education coupons and turn them into a school, or give them to me, and i will.thank<3you.
also, i'd like to use the granola box for art projects. like, i was thinking of making my cousin a mini mail box, decopauged (sp?) with some kind of collage. it would be cool.
and, oh yah, they are scrumptious.

STARTING
(start with the mom thing.) waving to my mother out the front door i say, "yah, mom...i'll put away the dishes later...bye." (with a southern accent) i then closes the screen door shut, walk back to the living room and plop down on the couth, grab the remote, and turn on the t.v. bordly (is that even a word?) i flip through, sigh, turn off the t.v. and toss the remonte aside. itch a part of my body for a second, get up and walk over to the "stereo system" and turn on "radio"(the ipod). "achey breaky heart" by billy ray cyrus starts playing. i slowly begin to sway my body and eventually start dancing around the living room. i see the cowgirl hat on the coat rack and put it on while i do a couple spins. i spot out of the corner of my eye the ashtray with a few of my mom's mostly smoken cigarettes. i find the longest one, brush and blow it off, and put it in my lips. i look around the "end table" for a lighter and light it (still dancing around a bit). i then do a little turn around with the cigarette and hat and spot my brother and his friend at the font door. a bit shocked i come to a complete hault, frozen with the cigarette in my hand. "oh, hi ya'll..." i say slowly... embarresedly.

have a cold?
cayenne peppers could be the answer if you want a quick fix, according to joey. cayenne peppers is a red, hot chili pepper. if you have a cold and don't want to wait for it to pass, you can rid it in just about one day. it may be painful, but it's fast.
snort two lines of cayenne peppers quickly, one in each nostrile.
it will burn and you are going to start feeling fever-like, but soon all the snot and mucas in your head will all start pouring out without even having to blow for about the next two hours.
by the end of the day you should be cured of your cold.
according to wikipedia, cayenne pepper has the same ingredients as pepper spray and mace (capsaisin).
it's your choice.

i could never pick a favorite song.
luckily i got to see him last year at kokua festival.

it's a beautiful morning; i'm indoors. i really need to get out more, i feel. the weather has been completely amazing, as usual, but i'm usually indoors, except for my watersports job. i should definitely try and make more of an effort to enjoy the world of outside.
i also haven't worked out in almost a week. the last thing i did was climb koko last monday...and it's almost monday again, eeek!

Don't let things bother you, dear Sagittarius. Have confidence that you are on the right track. Your strong will and erratic habits will actually prove to be quite effective on a day like today, when things seem to be floundering, and indecision abounds. Take this opportunity to grab the reins where other people have let them go. You might find yourself on center stage, but this is fine, because you know exactly what words to say.

i just picked up my cousin from the airport. it's good to have him home. the super bowl is on right now, not that i'm realllly paying attention or anything. just killin' time before work. i should be doing homework...but since i'm a procrastinator, i'm just going to wait and do it last minute tomorrow.

Take this opportunity to grab the reins where other people have let them go. You might find yourself on center stage, but this is fine, because you know exactly what words to say.

i just picked up my cousin from the airport. it's good to have him home. the super bowl is on right now, not that i'm realllly paying attention or anything. just killin' time before work. i should be doing homework...but since i'm a procrastinator, i'm just going to wait and do it last minute tomorrow.
jack.
work was pretty chill last night. it was semi-slow because of the fights, but i still made pretty good moola.
after we had finished cleaning i was walking out with bsaucy to give him a ride home and was saying goodbye to a couple customers/friends standing outside. one guy in the group, whom i didn't know said "hi, what's your name?" holding out his hand to shake mine. "diane," i replied. "i'm jack" he said.
"jack??" i asked.
"yah, jack. well, see ya next time." he said and i continued walking, turned the corner, and waved by.
what are the chances? some random jack is going to introduce himself to me, quite random.
