screw turkey day.

...it's more like a 5-day pumpkin pie and cool-whip binger for me.
bought and started eating the pie tuesday night.

omg. i love that garth brooks is on oprah right now (the late-night episode) singing "the dance".
hum... :)
i remember it being published as a poem in the one of those "chicken soup" books:
looking back on the memory of
the dance we shared beneath the stars above
for a moment all the world was right
how could I have known you'd ever say goodbye
and now I'm glad I didn't know
the way it all would end the way it all would go
our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
but i'd of had to miss the dance
holding you i held everything
for a moment wasn't i the king
but if i'd only known how the king would fall
hey who's to say you know i might have changed it all
and now i'm glad i didn't know
the way it all would end the way it all would go
our lives are better left to chance i could have missed the pain
but i'd of had to miss the dance
yes my life is better left to chance
i could have missed the pain but i'd of had to miss the dance

omg. what next.
earlier this week my computer had a virus so i had to delete EVERYTHING and start from scratch.
:(
and now, my phone went gimp.
boo.

Sagittarius - Nov. 21, 2010

Your surroundings are currently changing, Sagittarius. Perhaps your circle of friends has already undergone a major change. The fact is that you no longer have so many prejudices about the people you meet, and no longer seek only a certain type of person as a friend. You accept whoever comes along. You may not realize it, but your attitude is completely different now than it once was. Good for you!

adios autumn.welcome winter.

...so if you have any [crap you don't want], drop it off at my house. (or better yet, i'll even pick it up)

i'm gonna become a part-time horder until i get the store.

thank you.

my calling.

Sagittarius - Nov. 15, 2010

You may have had a hard time lately reaching your objectives. Unfortunately for you, Sagittarius, today will be no different. You may begin to feel a bit dissatisfied with the way your life is going at the moment. You will ask yourself certain questions about your goals. Does your personal life live up to those goals? Can you express your wonderful creativity as much as you'd like?

MSN Astrology

...omg. no, i haven't been. and just in time because last night i came the realization of what i what to do with my life: own my own thrift store.
that is me.
thta's who i am.
i would be so into it, i would be so happy.
well, i've always thought about the idea.
but now i think no sense in not trying if that's what i want.

i can't picture working for "the man" forever. i want to be my own boss. do my own thing. express myself.

i've never really had a goal in life.
this is my goal in life.
research and planning starts today.

i would be able to incorporate so many things of interest and experience in which i have.

going through the motions.

Sagittarius - Nov. 12, 2010

You're wasting your energy, Sagittarius, and you know it. You go out to dinner, attend parties and shows, but you're never really present. You listen to people but what they're saying doesn't interest you in any fundamental way. Yes, you're bored, and you're afraid to admit it to yourself. The depth of your inner search requires that you use a lot of energy to reexamine your life.

it's only after we've lost everything.

...that we are free to do anything. -fight club.

Sagittarius - Nov. 11, 2010

It isn't because your new projects demand such precision that they're causing you problems, Sagittarius. You tend to think details keep you from having a global vision, but that simply isn't true. There's no conflict between the long-term view and short-term needs. You just think that the latter gets in the way of the former. Try thinking of the details that you find annoying as steppingstones to your larger vision.

Sagittarius - Nov. 10, 2010

Today is going to be a great day for you, Sagittarius. You aren't one to embrace rules, constraints, or restrictions of any kind, preferring instead to reside in a fantasy world where no limitations apply. Have you considered that it's possible for you to join the rest of us here on earth and still retain your liberty and ideals?

Sagittarius - Nov. 3, 2010

Climactic events are apt to occur in your life, Sagittarius. It's time to condense and solidify your grand schemes and bright ideas in such a way that makes them more practical. Things may be spinning so quickly that you aren't quite sure where to jump on. Worry about that later. For now, what you need to do is express your ideas forcefully and succinctly. Doors will open as a result.

the usual 7 o'clock traffic combined with a rainy morning, and the fact that maybe i should have of left earlier, i was five minutes late for an alcohol class (one i need for work, not because i have a problem), and was turned away. boo.
oh wait, maybe i should have skipped the starbucks. but it's freakin' fall! and i needed a pumpkin spiced latte and a slice of pumpkin bread.
well, anyway, since the morning was more or less a complete waste of time. (precious time i could have been used for sleeping or many of the other things on the to-do list), i decided that it was indeed time to turn home. nope, not going to make it to class...this particular one is a de-void on my life. will be catching up with home stuff (bills, laundry, cleaning, emails, phone calls, etc.) before work, istead.

d-hab.

Sagittarius - Nov. 2, 2010

You may have to make an important decision today, Sagittarius. It has come to the point where someone draws a line in the sand and challenges you to cross it. Do you stay where you are and continue on without that person, or do you join them and support their goals and actions? The conflict today is between your head and your gut. Don't limit your choices to two. There are always compromises.

it's not that simple, see.

...but then again, it just may be.

click: i would be sad. [the avett bros, duh!]

[chorus]: ...i like how the song starts with the chorus.
i would be sad because you left me all alone.
i would be sad because the lies that you had told.
i would be sad because i got left by a girl that i adore.
i would be sad because the love i had before.

i meant what i said when i said i would settle down with you although i know it's not something that you were asking me to
do.
and i know we are young but we won't always be, so marry me; lets not be that predictable young couple changing, moving on.
but i can tell by watching you that theres no chance of pushing through.
the odds are so against us; you know most young love it ends like this.

[chorus]

i meant what i said when i said i would rearrange my plans and change for you.
you know me; i've always been the kind with easy confidence.
confident enough to honestly beleive that nothing out there stopping me especially not someone who's not loving me.
now listen here i told you i could live on with out loving you.
i was bluffing then, but it seems that just might have been the truth.

"well my dad told me, "one day son, this girl will think of what she's done and hurting you will be the first of many more
regrets to come."
and he said, "if she doesn't call, then it's her fault and it's her loss."
i say, "it's not that simple see, but then again it just may be."

my mom's been telling me this priceless piece of advice since i was in sixth grade balling in the hallway about a boy named jason pearn breaking up with me.
"HE DUMPED MEEEE!!!" -one of my mom's favorite stories to tell.
we "dated" for four months two weeks and six days. don't ask me how i remember, freak, i know.

my mom would also always tell me the following:
-she's proud of me
-i'm smart
-and to do whatever makes me happy

i can't wait to see my family in december!

...i'm gonna be 25 in a month and a day. ahhh.
i did not forgot, the dashboard confessional poster must come down then.

he should not accept her for who she is.
he should want her madly for who she is.

what do you got...

...if you ain't got love?

i like this part of the song (i mean, i like all of the song, but particularly this part):
at a little wooden cabin
up in northern minnesota
we ran together down to the dock
and you jumped right off it
and from out in the water
you called me to join you
and i said baby i cannot swim
if i jump i’ll surely drown you
you said life has no limit
if you’re not afraid to get in it

and oh baby i jumped to you
since then there’s nothing i can’t do

i’m never gonna give you up
what do you got if you ain’t got love

Sagittarius - Oct. 27, 2010

Short journeys in your neighborhood, perhaps connected with a group you're associated with, could take up a lot of your time today, Sagittarius. Fascinating and stimulating e-mails or calls could arrive. Books and magazine articles could provide information that sends you in a new direction in some way. Write down your ideas! You will want to remember them all.

overcast in october.feels like fall.

...and i like it. and the cool breeze accompanying it.

Sagittarius - Oct. 26, 2010

Are you entertaining tonight, Sagittarius? If so, you might be a little worried about what your guests think of your home and your skills as a host. Don't waste any time worrying. A good time will be had by all, including you. Everyone is likely to have a memorable evening. Just do your best, be your usual jovial self, and concentrate on having fun.

...wow. all i gotta say is wow. because i was worried.

the new job is going decent so far. basically, it's completely opposite of the old one (which i'm still working at a couple days a week); 4-5 days at new place, plus school, and covering two raido shows at the moment.
crazy i'm only gonna get two hours of sleep tonight? yes.
but i'll have three more in my car inbetween radio and class.

although if i wasn't doing all this what would i be doing? probably just wasting my time (alone [besides olive] at home).

Sagittarius - Oct. 24, 2010

A small spark in a dry field is apt to whip the hill into flames, Sagittarius. A raging wildfire may be underway by the end of the day. Know that you're one of the biggest perpetrators, but don't feel badly about it. Fire is destructive but also necessary. Clearing out brush and offering a fresh new place in which new growth can flourish is an important part of the cycle of nature.

having a guest roommate for a few days was awesome. it helped me to get out of the bed and be productive (as in beaching it up) in the a.m. it just feels good.

but all good things must come to an end. but the door is always open for my new friend.
