it was indeed a decent day..especially considering i only slept a couple of hours (in the p.w.) since suuuper early this morning.  must have been decently comfortable...i had a pillow over and ear my jacket covering my face and i k.o.'d.  i even woke up a couple of times and thought i was still at home....and then remembered no, i was in the parking garage at school.  f
[first time i ever slept there btw...(in the p.w., of course), and it was good in the sense that it was shady, so it didn't get so warm, then again, it was more noisy that sleeping on a residental road or something.

it's easy to get caught up in the every day b.s. on a small island.  small islands are mostly what i know.  but my mom always tells me theres a lot more to the world.  and i dont' want to forget that, espeically after i graduate in the spring.
as long as i try, and apply, i can go anywhere.  i just have to keep reminding myself that.
i guess at this point, if i left, my biggest concern would be my cat, dishes and couch.

went to okinawan festival with kenny-chan.  i miss okinawa...
when we were walking there...we came upon an ae86 (it's pretty much always ther, but still), hum... miss those, too.
i was a fatty and ate okinawan soba, andadag, and andagi. they did have sanpincha, although no sign of orion beer that i saw.

been doing a lot of driving around lately.  up big hills and ridges and just checking out places.  i like funky looking houses.  found one painted rasta colors-picture will come.

went out.  wasn't bad.

a couple of auto parts delivery, and a few restaurants close to home, less stressful kine.

..really? did i really really just jinx myself?

the past week has been really emotional (a sign it would soon be that time of the month).  so, i cried about a lot of things.
and here's why today.
i decided  to take the bug because it juuust got safety check and now have brakes.
while already just being hot, and somewhat irritated, i was almost to work with not even a few minutes to spare when it all of a sudden  came to me that i never pulled my work pants out of the dryer earlier today before i left to house to hang with tareeek.
so, just a few blocks away, i call work and tell them i'm gonna be late.  home is too far to turn back, so i'd just quickly grab a pair of pants at a near store.
six bucks later i had myself a pretty gross pair of grandma pants.
i woldn't be toooo late at this point, got pants, all good.
until the clutch cable snapped at the four-way stop behind work. 
like second nature, i immediately jump out and push the bug into a nearest parking spot.

i go into work, upset as hell.
my boss told me to go take care of my stuff and that they'd be find without me.
so i go back to my car, change my clothes back to my regular clothes (because i had changed into my work clothes while driving to work), and went to maitais' for a beer.
and then arby's.
just a few minutes later my triple-a heros came to the rescue.

and the dude ended up used to be living in okianwa at the same time as me, too.
and worked next to the hanger (where they keep airplanes) as my pops did.   he probably at least talked to him before.  hollywood.  hahaha.
it's a small world after all.

i got home and my cramps are killing me.  at least i don't have to go back to work.

i'm still up from yesterday.  worked from about 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., with not much of a break. i did have like thirty minutes to pound left-over buffet food and smoke a cigarette.
 
i have two cars, and i took the bus.  wtf is right.
it's really not that bad though. as long as i can make it before the last one of the night, it's all "g''.  and i got pepper spray (and big guns), so no worries.
 
....

slept...a while.  being clean and laying down in my bed hadn't felt that good in a while.

a big gust of wind just went through the house.  for some reason that reminded me of when i first moved here.  which, odd, was exctly four years ago a few days ago.  august 4th or 5th i think.
still in the same house, still working at the same place, still in school.
it's all good.
