late tuesday/early wednesday and wedneday's horoscope

Sagittarius -
February 11, 2009
Today, dear Sagittarius, consider trying to channel your philosophical inspirations into some creative writing. This is probably something you would enjoy. So even if you haven't expressed yourself in this way before, there's no better day than this one to give it a whirl. Try your hand at poetry or fiction. If this feels too daunting, start a journal as this will give you a place to collect your thoughts and insights.

so i guess it's good that i've speant the entire night since i pau hana sitting at the computer.

demetri martin...

is hilarious.

i'm gonna try and check out this premire tomorrow night on comedy central after south park.
LiNK

hmm...

so if you ever watch "the wonder years" you know all about little kevin arnold. so there's this teacher he had in middle school, ms.white. the funny thing is she was an english teacher, she drove an old, light blue bug, just like me, and her name was diane.

eventually she got married and her last name changed to mrs.heimer.

i was thinking about becoming a teacher for a while...but maybe someday farther in the future i will. and being an english teacher would be fun. i think i would prefer elementary school though.

the date

The girl looked in the mirror one last time
She was quite happy with the meticulous artwork on her face
She dashed downstairs leaving a trail of lucious perfume
There by the door awaited the date
He stood tall and sported a plaid shirt with fitted blue jeans and brushed hair
Satisfied, the boy took her by the arm and let her into the chilly night
She grew warmer when he placed his coat upon her shoulders
Before they continued, he intertwined his warm gentle hands with hers
The girl wondered where they were headed as they passed the brightly lit stores and malls
Everytime she asked, he would gently place a finger across her pink lips and smile
He then proceeded to a nearby toy store
The girl was mesmerized by the endless array of toys while the boy began a low chatter with the store clerk
The old clerk raised his wispy, white eyebrows in acknowledgement and handed him a wrapped box
The boy offered his gratitude and led his date out the door
He then muttered a few words as he thrust the candy striped box towards her hands
The girl brushed a few locks of shiny, blonde hair out of her eyes before opening the mysterious gift
She found it to be her old teddy bear which had been repaired to almost mint condition
Tears began to flood her beautiful eyes as she embraced the young, and now, pleased you man
He thought of all the memories that must have been filling her very colorful mind
He then placed his arms around her as well
There was not a prettier sight that night
The glow that illuminated from the couples' hearts was so great that it was seen around the world

this is by my good friend, oska lawrence. it was in our kadea middle school newspaper and i found a clipping of it at my parents house the last time i was there.
i love it

a poem/song

we're exactly the same,
in every single way,
i'm basically you,
is what you say.

fortune cookies point us in
the direction of where we want to go.
when we get it on,
nothing's better that we're about to blow.

"it's a sign," on a sign,
obviously it's a sign,
that we happened to be in the same place,
at the same time.

we bond when we're drunk,
sober and ...
we both dream of being hippy-truck drivers,
who live crazy lives.

our bodies are like two puzzle pieces,
i fit perfectly in your arms.
you take care of me, bebe,
when mexicans or cops are at the door.

coinsidences come in bulk,
i know you see them too.
you've never said you love me,
but i'm pretty sure it's true.

and here i am leaving,
leave you behind,
but what am i do?
we live two seperate lives.

responsibily speaking,
theres no way we could be.
it a matter of only hours,
i'll be miles across the sea.

and it's island vs. landmass,
you love to take long drives,
i like da island life,
but you're starting to change my mind.

let's both buy boats and sail them,
we'll meet right in between,
california and hawaii,
i'll be the only thing you need.

i could stall you all day long,
just like i'm stalling to end this song.
hey, bebe, just wait,
and help me sing along.

i'll dream enough for the both of us,
since you claim you never do.
i'll dream we're driving in your el camino,
with one big seat, not two.

recycling dishes

recycling dishes is useful and fun! i like collecting a lot of dishes, but i also like to weed out the ones i don't use or care for so much.
for instance, i like using old vintage plates, not new, plain, boring ones...so when i was packing up chris and bsaucy some left over food on thanksgiving, i just gave him the plates i didn't want anymore. who wouldn't want an extra plate?
this could also work out if you are making a plate of food for a school, work, or gathering and you could just leave the plate there and not have to worry about it.

definitely one of my favorite parts of the dinner parties is being able to use my dishes :)

history of valentine's day

click HERE for a video only 3mins49secs about the history of valentine's day...

click HERE for a video of cupid... pretty interesting

(i made these)

had a burito and grapes for lunch

i finally did the improv today at school! it went well...i could have enlongated it a little, but everyone said they really liked it and that i didn't seem nervous. yay! everyone really liked the music, too, of course. (this is highly correlated to the fact that mason jennings is what was being played)

the newspaper said "romantic" valentine's day is one of the most popular days to get engaged ... i think that is very un-creative and lame.

Sagittarius -

A neighbor or relative whom you haven't spoken to for a while might suggest that you attend a social event together, dear Sagittarius. Make the time for it, as it could open up doors for you that you wouldn't normally expect. Relationships of all kinds should be going especially well, and this includes romance. If you're involved, expect to grow closer. If you aren't currently involved, don't be surprised if someone new and exciting comes into your life.

MSN Astrology

well, on my drive home from school i saw someone who looked like "samurai boy" (that's what shannon and i used to call him)...a cute japanese boy from my math class.
it reminded me that i had a missed call from him the other day at work, but forgot to call him back. i then decided to call and we just caught up on things (mostly about school and work) for a few minutes and decided we should graba a drink sometime...could this be what my horoscope is talking about??
although i'd be pretty excited if someone new was coming into my life

i'm no longer going to be working at watersports on wednesdays. it was sort of pointless because i was only working half days and i really should give myself at least one day off a week anyway...although...i was now thinking about applying at the library. first though, i'm going to start small by getting a library card.

i would also like to work at a craft store. my first job ever was in a craft store in okinawa. i worked there for 2.5 years; it was a lot of fun. stocking craft supplies and doing the cash register is pretty chill, i think i'd still like it.

i'd also LOVE to get a job at the golf course as the beverage cart driver. cruise around on a golf cart and pass out drinks...yes, please!! once again, i just don't have the time right now...but maybe eventually.

other jobs i think would be chill/interesting would be: at a hookah bar, yard work...

careers i've though of pursuing: teaching, trucking, be a park ranger

for now i'm going to reseach about jornalism/commuincation, or something. who knows...

enjoying life is the most important thing to do.

also, the ex who wrote me and said he missed me a lot also mentioned that he's: a) "not doing shit" b) unhappy with his job and c) thinking about moving . . . i hate to say it, but i knew this is what was going to happen the day he decided he was no longer coming to be with me in hawaii.

ps.
it's a beautiful 79 degrees

:)

................................................................................................

now in the late p.m.

i just texted joey and this is what i said: "you know the way cory skanks like a madman? i'm blogging like one."
i think only people who work at hws could understand this, but it is funny.

c.c....who's that?? akireremasu. hahah. naw, but i'm forgetting about it for now.

improv. update 2

STILL haven't done my improv. ABSOLUTELY FOR SURE TOMORROW.
so before i was going to take a "i'm bored so i decide to try a cigarette" take on the scene, but now i think i'm gonna do a more "i'm a bad teenager waiting for my mom to leave the house so i can smoke her cigarettes and blare music" angle on it. "california (part II)" will be the song i dance around to so it's like i'm a young texan teen looking to start a life in california, too.
i hope it goes well!

more sidewalk singers.

so i just layed down to take a nap. i was only there for a few seconds when i heard "the suuuuuun will set for you...and the shadow of the day, will embrace the world away..." 2 singing boys! i thought perhaps someone(two) were seranading me out my window (not really) so i popped up to look. it was indeed two boys, not the same jogger though. they were probably in high school and one was on a skateboard.
it was funny.
i just looked up the song and they were signing linkin park! eeek ahahahaha. i hear that song at work all the time.

my truck.

well, it's like my cousins since i'm giving it to him...
most people (even i) think it's pretty funny that i have been driving this beast around for like a year and a half.
according to chris, it's makes a lot of funny noises. (which is true)

i like mondays this monday.

it's only 12:07pm but already a good day. woke up, ran a couple errands and went to the beach with chris to take some cup pictures and do some reading for school.
it started to rain on us in a little since we were in waimanalo. when we got back to the truck i couldn't find my keys. it sucked. it seemed like forever and we searched everywhere. . .and then i found them...in my bag...and only 5 minutes had passed.
chris said his horoscope was about deciding to go on a vacation. i think me and him kind of went on a mini-vacation...he was told at work to take a "2 hour lunch break"...which is whack, but it worked out because i happened to stop by his work right before i went to the beach.

my horoscope:
Sagittarius -
February 9, 2009
A lot of visitors may come to your home today, dear Sagittarius. Land might be discussed. At some point you'll be reminded of someone from the past, and experience a momentary wave of longing to see this person again. This won't last, however. You'll be too busy relating to the people now present. Expect to learn a lot and accomplish more throughout the course of the day. Go for the gold!

OH MY GOD! this is right on! at 3am last night(morning) i checked my facebook and got a message from an old lover (as in, i loved him). he said he saw a girl who looked like me and it made him miss me.
it made me miss him, too. it made me think: "what IF i saw him again?"
and now i know?

PICTURES FROM TODAY:

sometimes i really hate being short, but today chris gave me a perk of being small. when it start raining at the beach i threw my towel over huge tree roots to make as a tent.
i could fit. chris couldn't.

many things.

#1: went to the tattoo place art show last night when i get off work...and c.c. wasn't even there...i did see other other tattoo folk that i know, so it was cool and the art was really good anyway.
#2: i was supposed to work this morning and showed up and then i saw that they changed the schedule and i actually work closing tonight. i was pissed.
#3: i finally went to the grocery store. i pretty much try to get everything on sale. i should really try and start using coupons, sometimes you can get shit for free, ya know?! anyways, grocery shopping wasn't too bad.
#4: i'm just gonna go ahead and say i think this one is b.s. because i'm pretty sure no one is going to come over and the house is already clean:

The approaching arrival of visitors, perhaps in relation to a group activity or social event you're hosting at your home, could necessitate a last-minute cleanup and perhaps even a little redecorating. More than one person is likely to come to your door today, dear Sagittarius, and all who visit are likely to bring interesting news and useful information. By day's end your energy and enthusiasm should be much higher than they were in the morning.
#5: i contemplate about going to church sometimes, but i never do. i haven't gone to church once since i've been in HI...maybe next week, maybe next week....

singing jogger update.

later on in the day today i remembered that i DID actually hear the signing jogger this morning around 8am. he was signing very loudy; woke me up! still couldn't deciPHer the words, but i'll be ready next saturday...

sat am.

went out last night with kam. we didn't really care for any of the places we went or most of the people there, but we did have fun dodging and ditching guys.
at first we acidentally parked in a super sketch area in china town swarming with scary bums. some were trying to talk to us and started following us for a second. eeek.
at indigo it was very crowded and 2 dudes came up to me and kam. me and her pretty much just giggled and i was like "it smells weird over here" and we walked off. it was hiliarous.
at bar 35 we started chatting with two white boys. we learned we need to work on our lying skills. out of no where kam states that her name is my name, and i randomly said that my name was felicia. we just weren't very slick at playing it off. they would say "diane" and kam wouldn't be paying attention and i would look over like "what?". hahah.
they bought us a drink so we decided to be nice and talk to them for a bit. we couldn't handle it anymore and when we decided to leave and they were going to "come along" me and kam grabbed each other's hands and made a dash out the door, down the sidewalk and around the corner! free.

i should go to the grocery store but i just don't feel like it. all we really got to eat is ramen, cracker jacks, eggs and vanilla ice cream.

hm...this does make sense.
Sagittarius -
February 7, 2009
Oppressive stresses on you or those close to you could cause disconcerting upsets within your relationships today, dear Sagittarius. Try to be objective and work things out rationally instead of going to pieces. Avoid being sucked into quarrels where you might say things you'll regret. Don't let this temporary situation get the best of you! Make the effort to stay focused and relaxed, and tomorrow all should be back to normal.

freaky friday.

it really wasn't freaky at all. i mean, nothing unusually freaky; it's always freaky working at a shop with all hooligans for employees.

it's roughly 745pm. i've been trying to pick out an outfit for about 30mins...right now i feel like i look like i'm going to a ho-down.
before that it was a super hippy knit dress.
before that it was a blukly, blueish sweater-dress.
before that it was a dress i once wore during prom.
before that it was a dress i never wore and have had it since 10th grade.
hopeless.

jeans?!

...okay, i just changed into a plain cleavagey dress with a small dark-purple sweater and tall doc martins...let's see how it long takes until i change again.
