good friday, it was. started out with a beautiful sunny morning; there was barely any wind and the water was calm. work at the marina was interesting, chill and fun, as usual. had a couple beers after work before heading to the deaf community event at the mall. i got a little mored buzzed than had planned since i had forgotten to really drink anything all day except a coke. i had my friend give me a ride home even though the walk would only have been a few minutes, and then once realized when i got to my house that i'd forgotten that i'd driven to work this morning...
the deaf community event was fun, i learned a lot more new signs and met a lot of cool people. i even learned how to sign "okinawa". :)
i had planned a beach night with kam but it was pouring when i came out of the mall. we ended up finally making the pumpkin bread we had been planning on for a while. it was perrrrrfect. although we wanted to go out and do something, it was probably best to stay home since my horoscope from the star bulliten said "lay low" tonight and it was friday the 13th, again.
