  1. I'm pretty sure I already know what this is about, but I'll watch it when I have an hour or so to kill.

What we're doing with Iraq is pretty much exactly what we did with Saudi Arabia. We have entwined their economy so deeply with ours that they have no way to maintain a truly sovereign lifestyle anymore. We essentially offer to build up their infrastructure, but they don't have any money. They DO, however, have oil, which is just as good as far as we're concerned. So not only are we getting oil from them essentially for free, but SOMEbody has to maintain and upkeep all of their infrastructure, be it electrical systems, roads, or hey -- even those refineries we've put in place for them.

We did it in Saudi, and we're doing it now in Iraq. We just recently signed a new Status of Forces Agreement with the Iraqi government that states that they have to start paying us for all the work we're putting into their country. Guess where the money's coming from?
