willingly woke up at 730 a.m. to get a start on the day and get the house ready for it's new occupant, olive.
after my beach plans fell through, i took a few hours nap (which was much needed).
i'm feeling a little guitly about my many-a-friends who are allergic to cats and will no longer be able to stand coming to my house... :(
that just reminded me of a little rhyme/song i leanred in girl scouts as a kid:
"make new friends, but keep the old. one is silver and the other, gold."
also, for some reason last night i kept having the word "scallywag" stuck in my head at work and kept calling everyone it. no one was even sure exactly what it meanas...

work wasn't bad. made decent money considering i was off before 8 p.m.
olive is officially on her way over so i'm taking this time to enjoy the last moments of non-responsibility before i become a parent...
