the trip was a success i would say. i enjoyed the drive to dillingham: the weather was nice, the bug ran cherry and i was listening to jack johnson's "brushfire fairytales" album.
savers was a freakin' mad house though! like, literally there were no more carts or baskets, so i had to use a wicker baseket for sale and fit whatever i would inside. after about 30mins there was no more room in the basket so i decided to unload and then reload (which means pay for the stuff, put it in the car, and then go back for another round). and that is what i did...it just took a while because the checkout lines were of course crazy, too.
the ride home also went well. there wasn't really much traffic since it's a holiday and i listened to matt costa. an older guy driving an old, roundish, covertible porsce took off at the stop light next to me. i took off, too. beat him (in front on his wife).
remember, everything was 50% off

i also got a random diaper-bad looking baby tote. it was only $1.50 and looks hand-made. it's a gener neutral yellow. i thought i would use it as a place to put all the kids things i have such as books and small toys for when my friend's kids come over.
